E. Burton Mercier Alumni Service Award
The award recognizes the outstanding service of alumni to Illinois State University, the Alumni Association, or humanity.
Selection is based upon outstanding volunteer service and contributions to the University, community, state, country, or an important social cause. The award honors the memory of Burt Mercier '50, a community leader who gave back to the University in many ways throughout his life.
The Awards Ceremony is held each spring. Nominations from alumni, the University community, and friends of the University are welcome. Current active members of a University board are NOT eligible to receive an Alumni Award. They may be nominated once their service to the board expires.
