Kaci has been teaching for over 23 years for Ottawa Public Schools, 20 of those in the sixth grade. Teaching is her passion, and she gives back in many ways including serving on her district's student support team, school improvement team, and district steering committee. She also is an assistant fifth and sixth grade volleyball coach. She also earned her master's in curriculum and instruction from Olivet Nazarene University in 2003.
Kaci stays active through her profession and through the Alumni Association board. She also hasn't missed a Homecoming in 10 years! In 2005, Kaci decided to help Illinois State students pursue their passion of teaching by establishing the Rollings Scholarship. The scholarship honors her grandfather, Max Rollings, who had a connection to ISU as a sheet metal superintendent working on the first high-rise dormitories on campus.
She currently serves on the Alumni Association board of directors' board development and RED committees. She was the 2015-2016 board president. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
