Alumni Association celebrates 150 years of pride and passion
The Alumni Association marks its sesquicentennial this year. The milestone was noted during Founders Day with a celebratory alumni luncheon. Many alums were chosen to participate in the traditional bell-ringing event.

Redbirds surpass NCAA academic progress threshold once again
In the most recent announcement by the NCAA, all of the athletic programs at Illinois State have exceeded the NCAA's threshold for Academic Progress Rate (APR). In addition, 15 of the University’s 19 programs finished above the national average while nine teams achieved perfect 1,000 scores for the 2011–2012 data year. [read more]
