Do you know an Illinois State alumnus who fits any of these descriptions?
If you know someone who fits these descriptions, nominate them for an Illinois State University Alumni Association Award. There are five award categories and you choose where the individual fits best. The nomination process is simple and the first step in identifying outstanding alumni who are making a difference!
NOTE: It is encouraged to have all information ready to submit as you cannot save the form until completion. Use the pdf form to review all criteria and open-ended questions to prepare for online submission.
Once established, award files remain active up to four years from the last update and may be added to at any time. To be considered for 2022 Alumni Awards, nominations must be received by May 31, 2021.
The Alumni Association is putting out a special call for nominations for the inaugural Andrew Purnell Jr. Trailblazer Award. Nominations for the Trailblazer Award will be accepted through July 31, 2021. Two letters of recommendation must be submitted in order for a nomination to be considered.
Current active members of a University board are NOT eligible to receive an Alumni Award. They may be nominated once their service to the board expires.
Award recipients are chosen by selection committees formed from the Alumni Association board of directors’ standing committees. Each is chaired by a member of the Alumni board. Committee membership includes additional Alumni board members, alumni at large, and members of the campus community. After the committees make their selections, award recipients must be approved by the University president.
