Please join us for the annual Gamma Phi Circus Spring Shows, a Sibling Weekend tradition that features performances by the oldest collegiate circus in the nation. This year marks the 89th anniversary of the founding of Gamma Phi at Illinois State University in 1929 by Clifford "Pop" Horton. You won't want to miss this popular event!
Student Alumni Council welcomes you to its seventh annual pre-show Sibling’s Carnival on the Redbird Arena Concourse, beginning at noon prior to the 1 p.m. Saturday matinee show of Gamma Phi. This popular Sibling Weekend tradition is kid-approved and open to everyone that has a youth ticket to the matinee show. The carnival includes a variety of games, face painters, prizes, and fun for kids of all ages.
Need to burn off some energy when your sibling is in town? University Program Board has you covered on Saturday from 4-10 p.m. Come out to the Quad for laser tag and inflatables. Stick around until nightfall for a free movie and pizza. Rain location for movie: Old Main
The Bowling and Billiards Center (BBC) will host a Sunday Funday from 1–4 p.m. on Sunday. Illinois State students with a valid university ID and their guests can pay $2 per person for unlimited bowling, billiards, and table tennis. There are two chances to root for your Redbirds during Sibling Weekend! The softball team takes on the Drake Bulldogs in a doubleheader on Saturday at noon and Sunday at 11 a.m. Come out with your siblings and friends to cheer our players to victory!
Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality invites all meal plan holders to bring up to two family members to dine for free for one meal in either of the dining centers during Sibling Weekend. A reservation form will be emailed directly to all meal plan holders in late March. Students must submit the form by the deadline indicated to take advantage of this offer. Head to Uptown Normal with your siblings to learn through the power of play at the Children’s Discovery Museum. A discount on tickets is being offered for all Illinois State students. Show your current ISU ID during Sibling Weekend and receive $1 off the ticket prices.
