Please join us for the annual Gamma Phi Circus Spring Shows, a Sibling Weekend tradition that features performances by the oldest collegiate circus in the nation. This year marks the 88th anniversary of the founding of Gamma Phi at Illinois State University in 1929 by Clifford "Pop" Horton. You won't want to miss this popular event!
Student Alumni Council welcomes you to its sixth annual pre-show Sibling’s Carnival on the Redbird Arena Concourse, beginning at noon prior to the 1 p.m. Saturday matinee show of Gamma Phi. This popular Sibling Weekend tradition is kid-approved and open to everyone that has a youth ticket to the matinee show. The carnival includes a variety of games, face painters, prizes, and fun for kids of all ages.
University Program Board (UPB) is hosting a game of Ball Blasters in the Brown Ballroom Friday, April 7 from 8 - 11 p.m. Get your friends and siblings together and get ready for a fun night.
Join The Bone Student Center in celebrating the 10th birthday of the Bird Shirt with games and treats on Saturday, April 8 from 1 - 4 p.m. More details to come!
UPB will be showing Secret Life of Pets for free on the Quad on Saturday, April 8 at 8 p.m. for students and their siblings. Bring a blanket, lie under the stars, and enjoy a movie and pizza together! In the event of rain, the movie night will be held in Old Main.
Come out and root for your Redbirds during Sibling Weekend! The softball team takes on the Loyola Ramblers in a double header on Saturday, April 8 at noon and Sunday, April 9 at 11 a.m. Bring siblings and friends to cheer our players to victory!
Have you ever seen a show in our very own planetarium? Here is your chance to explore the stars with your siblings. A show will take place Friday, April 7 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 8 from 2-3 p.m. with cost ranging from $2-$4. Get your tickets right before the show.
Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality invites all meal plan holders to bring up to two family members to dine for free for one meal in either of the dining centers during Sibling Weekend. A reservation form will be emailed directly to all meal plan holders in late March. Students must submit the form by April 5, 2017, to take advantage of this offer. Head into Uptown Normal with your siblings to learn through the power of play at the Children’s Discovery Museum. A discount on tickets is being offered for all Illinois State students. Show your current ISU ID during Sibling Weekend and receive $1 off the ticket prices.
Your invited to the fourth annual Springfest, Sunday, April 9! Bring your family and friends to Horton Field House from 1 - 4 p.m. for food, raffle prizes, a dunk tank, face painting, and so much more! All proceeds will go towards supporting Easterseals, a nonprofit organization that provides services to children with disabilities. ESA is proud to be bringing more awareness to the Eastseals' mission.
