Fall 2007, during Illinois State University’s Sesquicentennial, renovations began on the University’s first, on-campus home for alumni.
The Illinois State University Alumni Center, located at 1101 N. Main in Normal provides an official gateway to campus and state-of-the-art meeting facilities for alumni and members of the University community. This facility is the official entry point for those visiting Illinois State University. Alumni will especially find the center inviting, as its design incorporates space for everything from group meetings to casual conversation around the fireplace. The Alumni Center is a special place for Redbirds and friends to gather and become reacquainted with their campus home.
The Illinois State University Alumni Center is designed to serve the over 235,000 alumni of Illinois State University, current students, faculty/staff, and the Bloomington/Normal community. Approximately 100 staff members from the Office of the University Advancement Vice President, Alumni Engagement, the Illinois State University Foundation, Development, Marketing and Communications, and extended university offices are located in the facility.

The Alumni Center's presence on campus is a home to our active alumni, increases the visibility of the Alumni Association, and strengthens the bond between alumni and the campus community.
